He's like the lost Farrelly brother. He's so stupid. He watched 'The Breakfast Club' and decided to tape his own butt cheeks together

Good Evening!
How's your Saturday night being? Alive?
Watched Lewis and tried to eat some chocolate. Unfortunately I wasn't able to bite in it or cheew it, so I dipped it in the coffee instead, leaving it there for a coupple of seconds to melt. Turned out to be a very delicious combination.
Husband will be leaving early tomorrow morning, so packing is done. Now catching up with blogs etc. before going to sleep.
Is it just me, or is the combination of brown sugar and honey way too sweet even for a sweet tooth?
Have to get up at 6 am, so resting my case for now .... ZZzzzZZ

The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect

Hey!
Dinner is digested and I'm now waiting for Lewis to start. One of my favorites. Did a little printing work for husband. I'm not a fan of excel .... think it's highly user un-friendly ... Grrrrr .....
Anyway - Deskjet did an amazingly good job. I'm pretty impressed of my little investment.
Read the latest news from Afghanistan. An extreme happening in Florida causes violent reactions in Kandahar .... I don't know which is worst. Christian extremity or islamic extremity .....

Now a cup of coffee and a bite of dark chocolate .... Yummi!

There is truth, and there is untruth. To be in a minority of one doesn't make you mad

Hey there!
I just cmae back from a well-deserved power-nap with Tiger. I needed it after all reading and lazyness. Now time to consider what to eat for dinner.
Outside is grey again today. Real April weather. I think it's been raining at some point. It's been a long time since I saw rain. I like the sound of raindrops on the window. It's music in my ears.
Husband is leaving tomorrow morning ... I plan to be a little domestic by then. Think that domestic work is terribly time and energy consuming. Wish I was a witch with a magic wand ......

Even a clown has a mother and father

Interesting article about Silvio Berlusconi. We shall see if he ends up in jail. Italy is a beautiful country, but I sometimes wonder if the heritage from the Cesarions is rooted too deeply in the Italians. The view on corruption and abuse of power doesn't seem to fit into the overall European view. It's as if Italy lives its own life ...... Obviously Italy is just about the only place, where a half-naked hallo-girl from a tv-show is able to attain the highest office just by shaking hands with the Prime Minister :P

The more you know about people, the more you appreciate dogs

Good morning!
Did you sleep well?
I did. Baked som bread before I went to sleep just after midnight. Tiger woke me up again at 3. After feeding him, I went back to bed and slept till 10. Nice :P
Readking blogs and FB and writing this update.
Now time for breakfast and the Daily Wailing.

Catch you later!

Dolores Delmonte? Sounds like an exotic fruitsallad!

Watched a programme about Sabhera, a young Afghan girl who'd left her violent husband and is now trying to get a legal divorce. She was married to him at the age of 10, sold by her father for 50 lambs. - 1 lamb has a value of appr. 25 USD ...
I was thinking of this privileged world of ours .... We don't have to sell our daughters .... We are fortunate enough to be able to learn to read and write ... We know our rights. The law is on our side (at least most of the time). Women and men have equal rights and equal opportunities. We don't really know what poverty and hunger is. We talk about democracy and constitutional rights. We fight wars in countries far, far away and think that we can turn these countries civilized and democratic using bullets. But the truth is - instead of weapons we should arm our troops with pens and books and blackboards and concentrate our efforts on fighting the ignorance that goes hand in hand with illiteracy.

That's what I like about Scotch people, you know - emigrate all over the world as long as you like and still end up talkin' like Scotch people

Buzz, buzz!
You know what I like about my job? - The fact that I don't bring it th me home. When there, I invest 100% of myself in it. When closing the door, it's gone. I cannot remember what I did or who I spoke to. If I had a shitty day - and shitty days come to me as they do to you - I go home and forget about it. I could never ever again spend time on a job where I'm forced to lay sleepless at night, wondering what the h@ll went wrong. Been there, done that. And it felt like Dantes 'Inferno'. It's an experience, but not something I'd like to try again. Why do you work?- I work, because I want to ... not because I need to. There's a huge difference.
When I was young(er) and still had a lot of ambitions, I wanted to be someone. I thought the recognition and the appreciation would come if only I proved to others that I was someone and something. Now I know better. It doesn't matter how hard you try. If people don't appreciate you for being you, it's a waste of time trying to convince and please them. - When realizing that, I decided that my ambition would be simply to be me. Others expectations are beyond my ability. If you don't like me for being me, it's not my business to change your mind.
Be yourself! - All the other's already been taken

I don't eat bagels. Bagels are like glue in your intestines and ensure that everything that enters your body will remain there until you die

Hey and Good Evening!
How's your day been? - Mine's been fairly okay. Came home late ... but who cares as long as it's FRIDAY!
Strange weather today. This morning it was snowing - now it's just greay and cloudy. Grey sky, grey street, grey clouds, grey trees, grey snow, grey everything! Odd situation this morning as someone accidently had turned our day into a holiday. So for 1 hour, the phones were quiet. Untill someone thought it was weirdly quiet for a Friday, and dialed our number, only to hear a statement claiming that it was a national holiday HAHAHA - Alas not! But last year, April 1 was a holiday hehehehe ... OOPS.

Weekend means relax, read, bake, c(h)at, some light make-over of the domestic residence, lots of coffee all included.

Catch up on you!

2011-03-31

Did anyone ever tell you to picture the audience in their underwear? Well, don't do it. I did it once and I had nightmares for a week. Bulgarians in Speedos

Cannot wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a good day. Friday and new month. Supposed to be spring-month. I like April. Wonder if I should see all clients as April's fools tomorrow? Hm ... To be considered.

Listened to wonderful music - a concert with Carola. Those of you who aren't familiar with Carola is missing ... Hunger

Tiger is all over me - and on the printer again HAHA. He knows how to turn it on and off. Not sure I should tell you this, but I think it's funny watching him investigating things the way he does ... Uh, Tiger! That's cd's - Maybe you should just leave them xD - Yes and that's mommy's mouse. Not a cat-toy little man! Yes that's buttons. You see - try to write with your paws and see how that goes xD Wet puss!

I think 'Blogger' is a very good tool. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the phone blogging. I still don't have control which annoys me. I am a control freak - at least when it comes to things I have the ability to - control. Plan to spend some time during my precious weekend to get myself properly up and running with this tool as well.

Emily just reminded me of a must-see program on tv. To my understanding, it's about child pornography .... Disgusting! Not sure if I'm actually able to watch this till the end ......

Oh, it's heaven! One quick trip downstairs and I have all the treats I want. You're like Willy Wonka but hotter!

Hey there! How are you!
Did you have a good day?

Good food? Good company? Good by's? - Good for you! :P

Was home a little later than planned. Had to wait for a very long freight train and another train to pass, before I could cross the railway tracks and head home. Arriving home I was supposed to fix dinner but stumbled over a couple of catalogues with plenty of nice-to-have stuff inside ..... Bling and Spring xD Sipping coffee and is out of cakes and sweets .... Would like a piece of chocolate .......

Reality has absolutely no place in our world

Just this, and I promise you, I will shut up (for now) :P
One of my few icons is Marlene Dietrich. To me, she's the synonym of elegance and style. She is also a symbol of a time, where women were allowed to have a face expressing personality. When men conqoured the fashion world and started to set the rules, women was reduced into hangers on a clothing rack - to zombies. If you've seen one model, you've seen them all. They all look the same (with 1 or 2 exceptions). Tall, slim, no hips, no breasts with faces you can model. Karl Lagerfeld who I absolutely despice, said it publicly: "Women are hangers for my designs". The truth is, that without women, K.L. would never have made his trip to fame. Basicly because his achivements are limited to drawing some sketches. The REAL work is made by an army of women. The sewing, the showing, the making of his fantasies. - Without the women - he would be a big, round zero.
Marlene Dietrich worshipped elegance. She might not have been the greatest actor, or the greatest singer on Earth. But she was a true expression of elegance.

Sleep well!

Look, I've had my peace with the fact that everyone who calls here is a notch above brain dead, and that the pennies I am thrown each week are in exchange for me dealing with these people in a nonviolent manner

Buzz, buzz!
How is your evening?
What a beautiful weather it's been today! Sunny and warm. Lovely! I was just looking at my daffodils in the windowsill. They're stretching towards the sun, opening up and drinking every drop of sunshine that comes through!

Promised you yesterday to show you my favorite frangance from Jeanne Lanvin:
Irresistible As A Pretty Pink Dress has a scent of sweet blackberry, rasberry, peony, rose and white fresia. I also sense strawberry when wearing it. The only negative thing I have to say about this fragance is, that it isn't eau de parfume but eau de toilette. But it's very delicate and feminine.

I'm digging for fashion at Michael Kors. Think I found something .......

MUMBLER! Seriously, I can't understand a word you're saying!

A very Good Wednesday Evening!
I hope you had a wonderful day. - Mine was fine, thank you for asking :P
Out of the door 7 am this morning, and returned 1/2 hour ago. Sipping coffee while boiling eggs. Have a slight pain in my mouth. Not from the tooth that was removed yesterday, but from the anesthesia syringe. - Anyway, half a painkiller will make i go away in a hurry.
What to do? What to do? Hmmm .... Not sure .... Yet. Check the Daily
Sadness sit on the balcony in the evening sun .........
Will keep you posted!

2011-03-29

Well ya know its gonna hurt a little bit but that's all part of the experience

It's time for a snack, and I choose a slice of warm, fresh bread with chocolate, raisins, cinnamon and orange. Mumma!

Was at the balcony a while ago to breath some fresh air, and got this fabulous shot of the burning sunset
Look at the pink and yellow colours in between the naked trees! It was a gorgeous sight!

I'm gonna search for more about Lanvin - would like to introduce you to some of the lovely Jeanne Lanvin fragances - one of them is a favorite xD - And yes, Lanvin makes fragances for men as well :P

What's your favorite fragance?

You sold your soul to the devil when you put on your first pair of Jimmy Choo's

Buzz, Buzz! It's me again! :P
Reading a magazine that came with the Daily Monday's edition this morning. - Yeah, I know it's Tuesday, but obviously the newspaper boy doesn't .... Anyway - It's full of articles about fashion, blogging a lá L'Égypt, China and fake doctoral titles in Germany (the zu Guttenberg scandal) ..... Interesting .... I never was a fan or a slave of fashion. I do prefer to be myself and create my own style. I like retro and second hand. I also like H&M to fill my working-day closet. My favorite French designer is Jeanne Lanvin who'se beautiful creations made women look just stunning (http://www.lanvin.com/#/en/lanvin-house/portraits-jeanne-lanvin)

Examples from the Lanvin for H&M Collection, Fall 2010
.... and shots from the DN World Fashion article .....

In your days, men were busy building pyramids! How long ago was that?

Did myself a favour today and bought daffodils. Remind me of spring and warmth. They're glowing in my window!
Cannot tell you how much I long for the the greenery, the deep, warm smell of roses, the cosy evenings on the balcony or at an outdoor café drinking irish coffee, enjoying life.

My favorite flower is the Rose. It may come in all shapes, colours and forms .... The Rose is my all time It flower. My dream is to have a Bed & Breakfast in England in beautiful Kent. A huge, old house surrounded by a magnificant garden, filled with roses and English peonies. The very thought of it makes me smile!

Making omelet for dinner - or for Tea if you like. Mine with bananas and husband's with cheese.

Catch you later!

Let me know when your whole life goes up in smoke. Means it's time for a promotion

Hello and Good After-Evening-Noon!
How are you today?
Just returned from the dentist - soon - very soon - It's NT day .... I selected the colour today and made a coupple of final decisions. I cannot wait to see and feel the final result!
Been working just 1/2 a day and that feels fine, because to be honest, I wasn't in my best mood today, and I hate going negative, so it was a good day to leave early.
2 delicious breads in the oven and c(h)atting with Tiger.

Catch you later
!

I'm sorry, do you have some prior commitment? Some hideous skirt convention you have to go to

I admire creative people. I'm not much of an artist myself. Would like to be able to paint or draw, but those genes was never developed inside of me. But I shall test it this summer. In the meantime I play with the camera. Over- or underexpose weird photos and let them be my paintings. I think it's fun. Doesn't matter if it's good or bad or that someone far more educated in this can see all my mistakes. I do this for fun and because it's my hobby.

This goes for blogging as well. One of my colleagues said to me today "Wow! You write a lot!" - And he's right - I do. Basicly because this blog is a sort of a diary where I ventilate everything that comes into my mind. It reflects my mood and my verbal silence. It's a whole lot easier for me to babble in writing than verbally. I don't follow a script ... however I often find it refreshing to simply write down how I feel about things in order to get it out of my system. I think other bloggers have some sort of inspiration source. I don't. I might think "Oh, what should I write about today? Nothing happened" ... and all of a sudden - sim-sa-la-bim - I'm on update 6 or 7 ..... Operation Witchcraft xD

After a lifetime of living by my wits and on my memory, I shall give myself up full-time to the profession of forgetting

Absolutely true! It's me knocking on your door again!
How are you doing? - Hope you have a joyful evening in good company .... Me? Oh, I'm just making up for lost time. Work is nice, but MG - it is a time consumer! I really need a holiday a.s.a.p. But I guess I'll have to hold my breath another coupple of months. I have 1 very serious problem right now, and that is to keep husband away from Emily's blog the next days. She and Fredrik bought themselves a brand-new very high-tech tv, and I just know how husband can babble once he gets something into his head - like a new tv (๏̯͡๏) - and honestly - instead of throwing money after a tv, I think it's much better to invest in a dishwasher or a new dustbuster. In other words - important stuff for my well being is on the list over prefered and needed necessities :P

You wouldn't have found it if I hadn't thrown it out the car

Hi there!
Hope you had a good day. Mine's been fine so far. Just a bit tired in my head, but coming home always makes me happy! Tiger Busig jumping up and down, telling me nice stories about the events of the day. And husband of course - bringing me a nice cup of coffee, asking how my day was. I'm happy!

What's up for tonight? Hm ... Think I'm gonna tugg in very early. I have the monthly mess, and at my age, it's bloody like
H@#ll :P
Maybe c(h)at with Tiger and read a little .... Btw - something's odd going on with my Daily war, wailing and complaint! On Saturday I didn't get any paper. Sunday I got the both Sunday's and Saturday's edition. Today I didn't get any paper ... Will I receive Monday's news (which actually are the Sunday news) tomorrow, Tuesday? I wonder ...... ???

2011-03-27

From now on you can call me the "Dust Buster." I'm stronger than dirt

Yeah, you're right! It's me buzzing you again :P
Just need to tell you, that husband and I are spoiling ourselves with some goodie-goodie stuff called Ben&Jerry and a touch of honeydew melon served in our childish Kellogs plates ... Yummi! It really is the best ice-cream on Planet Earth.

I've been considering words that start with the letter M. Moron. Mutiny. Murder. Mmm-malice

Good Evening!
Soon Sunday will turn into Monday ..... Alas. I don't like Mondays. Mondays are full of stupidity and dislikes. The only good thing about Mondays is that when it's over, weekend is getting closer xD

Today is my dad's birthday. Did I mention that? I rang him a little earlier to congratiolate him. He was still in bed - but I told him that it was okay, considering the fact that the clock was set on summertime only this morning, so his system needs to adjust first before turn-over can be implemented. I sent him some chocolate and a bottle of wine. He likes that. And why not!?! He worked very hard all his life, but now that he's getting old, not much fun is left for him. He rarely gets out, and has very little to do except for watching television and painting.

I've been considering how to handle this odd situation from Friday night. Been doing a lot of thinking there. In a way it's sad, because once again I realize why I don't socialize with people. I would like to socialize more than I do. On the other hand, when ending up being degraded into some sort of nanny, spare me the fun. Also, I don't know what to believe. The story goes round and round and developes, but the truth is, I think it's a fantasy. Though I cannot say that loud. That would be like saying I have no empathy or sympathy. The truth is, I have ... though for reasons that not everybody will understand and accept .....

We have to get to the beauty department, and God knows how long that's going to take

Good Afternoon. I hope you are having a great Sunday with tons of relaxation and cosy company.

Hi there,
How's it going?
Sunday is the laziest day of the week. I love it! Sipping coffee, zapping, surfing and c(h)atting with Tiger. Wonderful.

The headlines of the day:
1. Britney Spears
2. Libya
3. Fukushima
The first is irrelevant and the 2 later are just scary.
Let's talk about something more light - like how to keep you skin fresh. I use a day cream and a night cream for mature skin. My favorite label is L'Oreal's Collagen Replumber. My skin likes that cream, but of course it's highly individual what skin cream to choose. It depends on what you want to achieve. And the skin creams you used when you were 20 are not suitable for your skin when you're 50. So my advice is that you check up the different brands and find something that makes your skin feel good.

Think of your skin as a sunset. How beautiful would you like it to be?

I'm gonna search for some good creams from this over-represented market and keep you posted.

We just hit it off so great because we both love the same thing and that is ... Me

Good Morning!
I hope you enjoyed your Saturday night!
Been up for a coupple of hours, but just had to watch 'Downtown Abbey' before doing anything else. Love that series. Maggie Smith is one of the characters, so you can imagine ..... Also needed to go through Emily's paper which she has to deliver today. And eat breakfast of course: 3 slices of homebaked bread filled with chocolate, cinnamon, apples, orange and raisins. Nam, nam, nam. A glas of blueberry soup and a nice cup of coffee makes my day :D
I slept in the guestroom, because husband had a little too much of the J&D yesterday .... His snoring kept me awake, so at 2 am I gave up, took my blanket and my pillow and went to sleep in the other room xD
Seems to be a rather cold day, so I think I will just stay indoors and concentrate on blogging, reading and cosy-ing xD

Catch you later!
