November Blues

November is strange. One moment it's snowing and minus degrees. - 5 minutes later it's raining. The birch trees lost all their leaves over a weekend. This is from the backside of our house. It's so grey and dull, and yet the snow added some light to the sadness.

Cheers,
Asta

I used to like the cold sharp winters in Denmark, but hated the dull grey ones.

You've made the most of the clod days by taking a nice picture. It's much warmer here so far.

I agree that it may be grey and dull, but you got a great photo. Hope the weather gets better, but winter is not that far...

I think it's beautiful myself. We don't get to see things such as this a whole lot and it's just stunning :)

Brr...it doth look like winter has arrived, Asta. But there's a certain beauty in that, too. You must live in a woodsy area!

Asta, it's a beautiful atmospheric shot. I love it. Almost monochrome. It's the kind of picture I might play about with a bit, try some painterly effects on, as it resembles a painting.

It is the scenery of a wonderful forest.
I can feel dignity very much from the grove.

Thank you.

Asta rather dark and foreboding-I guess just like Autumn should be?

I must admit I do occasionally miss it-then I wake up and nip outside!

Very pretty, but I don't think the teddy bears are having a picnic in those woods today! Great spot to watch the changing seasons!

Hello dear Asta,
wow what a beautiful place you live.
I like winter a lot and I think this landscape is also very inspiring.
And now it's time for a delicious cappuccino, why not?
God bless you

Winter comes early to your bit of Europe. We are still waiting for our first real frost. This photo captures the changing seasons nicely.
