Fire

6 families lived in this block of flats. A coupple of months ago a neighbor discovered that the house was on fire. It was in the middle of the night, but fire trucks arrived in due time to get everybody safely out. This is what is left of the building. This is a wooden house, so I think you can imagine how fast the fire spread.

Cheers,
Asta

How sad. Glad they got everyone out--hope they didn't lose their family photos etc.

Mary: I'm afraid they lost everything. There was no time to collect anything. It was a matter of a few minutes.....
Very sad indeed.

Asta

Oh, Asta, that is so sad. Fire is such a terrible thing. I hope there are people helping them.

Very good that all the people were able to get out. Now what has happened to them? Where did they all go?

How frightening that must have been. How sad. I hope they all got rehoused at least to try and build a future.

Wow! Fires are so terrible. Glad that no one was hurt, though. I wonder if "they" will try to rebuild this or bulldoze it and start from scratch...

It's great that everyone was saved , but such a shame about the house.

To stop a fire in a wood building is really something: you've got a good fire department. What or who started the fire: carelessness, cigarettes, short circuits?

What a tragedy. I can't imagine the devastation in their lives as a result.

The problem with this fire is that it's not really possible to find out what caused it.

But everybody was re-housed in other houses, which is very good.

Asta
